PBA Replay: Ginebra vs Meralco Finals Game 4

The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings entered the fourth quarter trailing by 16 points but still found a way to come back and win Game Four, 88-86, in another thrilling Oppo PBA Governors’ Cup finals match on Friday at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

The best-of-seven series is now tied at 2-apiece after the Ginebra win.

Japeth Aguilar led the way with 19 points, six rebounds and two blocks while LA Tenorio added 12 points and four assists in the win.

Jayjay Helterbrand went a perfect 4-for-4 for 11 points – all in the fourth quarter to also help the Kings’ cause.

The Kings trailed, 74-58, heading into the final period but scored 16 unanswered points to open the fourth and outscored the Bolts, 30-12, over the last 12 minutes of the game.

Ginebra got off to a quick start, jumping out to a 13-6 lead behind a strong early effort from Tenorio and Aguilar. They maintained that lead, closing the first period with a 20-13 lead.
